Wendy Keith Designs, are proudly designers and makers of Shooting Stockings and Kilt Hosiery for His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales.

For over 30 years, Wendy Keith has built up an expert, loyal and acclaimed group of over one hundred hand-knitters, crochet and embroidery artists.

These crafts people work from their own homes, (known as home workers.) The hand-knitting is on four needles, in 4 ply and double knitting yarns,amongst other qualities of wool. These hand-knitting traditions have been passed from generation to generation over many centuries. All the home workers are from Great Britain. Wendy does not out-source from other countries. She stands firmly by the British product. British Finest.

Wendy and her small team of three skilled and caring studio assistants, are highly regarded for the superior quality and design of each hand made garment.

Attention to every detail in design, colour way required is part of her bespoke and imaginative work. Matching the gentle Tweeds of Scotland into the heathers, and peats, and also along with the Scottish Tartans forms part of her creative palette of colours which is her passion.

Wendy Keith has been Certified by the Soil Association since 2007. This was achieved to highlight, through hand knitting, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales' magnificent cause to forward his own Organic commitment.

Wendy's new dedication is to shortly produce, for the first time, an Organic Collection using the fleeces from His Royal Highness' own LLeyn Sheep Flock from Home Farm, Highgrove, in Gloucestershire.

Over the last year Wendy has been using The Duchy, Wayland Farm fleeces amongst one other Organic farm in Cornwall. All these fleeces are expertly handled and spun
by Cornish Organic Wool, in Penzance, Cornwall,(also a member of the Soil Association). The wool is Organically dyed to each wholesale customers spec for their Collections, or, for the personal purveyor, country colours of Organic Stock yarns are held in the Studio.
Wendy's aim is to produce the 'Smallest Eco Footprint' in her organic work.

Alongside this exciting new venture, for over 30 years, Wendy Keith Designs, has offered a large portfolio of garment designs, also bespoke work is carefully undertaken.

Luxury yarns such as Cashmere, Alpaca, Merino sit side by side with durable wool-mix varieties. Her Collections can be seen in many to the finest Mayfair Sporting Houses.
