The London Theatre scene is one of the most vibrant in the World. Theatre traditions go back over 400 hundred years to the time of Shakespeare (1564 -1616) in the mid 1500s who wrote plays & acted in them in London's Globe Theatre, now re-constructed in Southwark on the south bank of the Thames.
