By Tube to Almeida Theatre
The nearest Underground stations are Highbury & Islington or Angel which are both within 10-15 minutes walk of the theatre.
There is currently engineering work on London Underground's Victoria line. The last trains run at 10pm - please check with Transport for London for further details.
By Bus to Almeida Theatre
Routes 4, 19, 30 or 43 (accessible) stop near the theatre. Alight at stops P or N. Routes 38, 56, 73, 341 and 476 stop on nearby Essex Road. Alight at the Cross Street stop and walk up Cross Street to Upper Street.
By Train to Almeida Theatre
Essex Road (approx 750m) Highbury & Islington stations (1km).
First Capital Connect and Silverlink trains call at Highbury and Islington Station.
Directions to Almeida Theatre
From Highbury & Islington Station alight at St Mary's Church (stop N) , on Upper Street. Walk back to the zebra crossing and cross over into Almeida Street. When travelling from Angel Station alight at the stop after the Kings Head Pub (stop P) on Upper Street, continue along Upper Street in the same direction taking the next left turning into Almeida Street.
The main entrance to the theatre is on the left side of Almeida Street, shortly after the corner with Upper Street.
By Car to Almeida Theatre
Please allow plenty of time for your journey. There are parking restrictions in Almeida Street until 6.30pm on weekdays and 1.30pm on Saturday.

Patrons travelling by car can drop their passengers outside the theatre in Almeida Street, which has a dropped pavement area.
