About the Millennium Stadium

With a retractable roof and a capacity of 74,600, the Millennium Stadium has hosted many top sporting events, including FA Cup finals and the 1999 Rugby World Cup Final.

During the Games

The Millenium Stadium has the honour of hosting the very first event of the Olympic Games, with women's Football matches starting on 24 July. It will also host the men's bronze medal match.

After the Games

The venue will continue to be used as the home of the Welsh football and rugby teams.
