Is the Olympic Torch coming to Dublin?

Queen Elisabeth's visit to Ireland has been a resounding success. The Irish people 'took' to her Majesty..or perhaps a great multitude of them had never left.

Her majesty seemed to have enjoyed her visit to Ireland enormously. Her apparent 'spontaneous' mounting of the stage after the Irish Dancing display at Dublin's Conference Centre spoke volumes when measured by her Majesty's relaxed demeanour & happy smiles.

As a client of the Irish National Stud, her visit to Kildare was both business & pleasure.

There is talk that the Olympic torch will meander its way south of the border in recognition of past alliances.

It would be most appropriate that this is firmed up as an expression of the 'new' entent-cordial between our two nations.

This Olympian Torch gesture would highlight the significance & success of the First Official Royal Visit to the Irish Republic.
