Oscar Wilde was probably the most famous playright ever. Oscar was born in Dublin but lived many years in fashionable Chelsea.

Oscar Wilde married Constance Lloyd in 1884 & lived there until 1895.

His most famous plays include The Ballad of Reading Gaol,The Picture of Dorian Grey (1891), Lady Windermere's Fan (1892), A Woman of No Importance (1893), An Ideal Husband (1895), and The Importance of Being Earnest (1895).

Oscar Wilde's House was 34 Tite Street, Chelsea, London SW3 - England, UK.Unfortunately, the house is not open to the visitors. However, go there to pay homage to this great genius, playwright & poet...Oscar Wilde!
